What to Do
Activities in Memphis, TN
While you can go to beale street if that’s something you’re trying to tick off of your bucketlist, here are some other suggestions we have for things to check out while you’re in memphis.
EAT & DRINK
Everyone knows Memphis is a BBQ place—The BBQ Shop on Madison Ave is the best in town (you are welcome to disagree if you just enjoy being wrong I guess).
Our other favorite spots are Lucky Cat Ramen, India Palace, and Cafe Eclectic.
If you’re looking for a drink, Memphis has loads of breweries: Ghost River, Memphis Made, Crosstown Brewing Co., Wiseacre, etc. (Wiseacre is a favorite of ours).
PLAY
If you have kiddos (or like having fun in general) hit up the Memphis Zoo.
The Rec Room is a favorite hang out of ours. Play video games, rent a living room space for couch gaming, grab a drink, or even throw axes next door.
EXPLORE
Mollie Fontaine has an annual Halloween Party. Check that out if you aren’t tired after the wedding. (It’s right across the street!)
